| Please elaborate, Newsguy. If it's about yesterday, I'm glad George said what he said at the Wrap-Up. I'm also glad that Gary, Jon, and the others were able to defend the show's position. That's what the Wrap-Up is for - to discuss behind the scenes and the deeper issues of the show. |

Yes, it is about yesterday. He was being patriarchial and hypocritcal. Typical Liberal. Wouldn't let his wife listen to the because its content. Wants to let everyone make jokes about things except the things he finds offensive. In short, an aaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssshole. _________________

When Howard was first building his channels at Sirius and wanted to build a "news crew" to cover items for him, I think he looked at people like George Flowers, Penny Crone, and a couple more as "name brands" (people who were known in the field and could "legitimize" H100News) vs. "Howard Stern fans" (whom he could have probably gotten cheaper). I'm sure George asked for enough of a contract to make it convenient for him to put aside whatever else he was doing at the time. At this point, even if George is not entirely happy where he is - and even if Howard and the crew are not always estatic about him - it may be about honoring the contract. I think it's refreshing that not everyone is Howard's "yes man" - and that, sometimes, real issues get talked about. I really didn't have a problem with that Wrap-Up.
I think sometimes Howard and the crew get stuck in tangents. Right now, they seem to be stuck in "orchestrated fights." There was a thread in another forum today talking about the crew seeming to get stuck in cycles, like "fighting." There were also a couple about George's views. I think the Wrap-Up Show was the perfect "behind the scenes" arena for a topic like racism in the show to be discussed. |

Flowers really is an ass.
But I could not believe the amount of political correctness coming from the Stern crew, particularly Artie. Came across as real fake to this guy...
Thanks for making these wrapups available. Some good stuff here, and it beats trying to decipher Mark's Friggin rambling blog. |

While George Flowers adds a professional tone and maybe even some credibility to Howard's channel, I can't believe he was so naive as to not have some idea what the Stern Show was all about.
Did he expect to come on the scene and set the agenda?
Is it partially because of George that we've heard so little from the likes of Daniel Carver lately?
Is the tail wagging the dog?
Loosen up, George. |

Howard probably hasn't offerred to pay Daniel's gas or send him a plane ticket recently. He still uses Daniel on the phone calls with Wendy and Gary "TRs." I think we're seeing a gradual "swapping out" of generations of "wack-packers."
