| This is an unfair question, no one can "replace Stern." |

Data as of this posting...
Oh Yeah! 19 %
No Way! 81 %
Howard Stern:- Howard Stern is an American radio jockey who was born on January 12, 1954 in Roosevelt, Long Island, New York. Stern is the most successful and highest paid peonality on the radio. Other than radio, Stern has also appeared on popular national television shows including, 'The Howard Stern Show, The Howard Stern Interview, Howard Stern (E! cable show) and The Howard Stern Radio Show'. Stern developed his interest to become a radio peonality from his father who used to work at a radio station. He earned a Bachelor degree in communicatio from Boston Univeity in 1976. Stern also worked as a volunteer at the college radio station. Soon after finishing his graduation he began working as a disc jockey for an obscure station in Westchester County, New York where he played rock music. His first morning show job was in 1978 in Hartford, CT at WCCC-FM and WCCC-AM. Stern married his college girlfriend, Alison Berns on June 4, 1978 and the couple together has three daughters. However in October 1999 the couple announced their divorce proceedings that later resulted in a settlement. He is currently dating fashion model, Beth Ostrosky, who is 19 years younger than him.
David Lee Roth:- American rock vocalist, David Lee Roth who is sometime credited as Diamond Dave, was born on October 10, 1954 in Bloomington, Indiana. Roth is well known for his work with American rock band, Van Halen. Roth joined the band as the lead vocalist and in 1978 he sang lead vocals on Van Halen's eponymous fit album. The band biggest success was the song 'Jump' in 1984, which reached No.1 on the Billboard charts. In 1985 Roth decided to stand out on his own and leave the popular band, Van Halen. Roth reconvened with Van Halen again in 2000 and they recorded a couple of songs but soon parted ways due to legal reaso. In 1998 he came up with his autobiography, 'Crazy From the Heat', in which he characterized Van Halen's music as 'morose'. He is currently touring at many places as a solo artist....
Btw, I skipped the free jeans offer at that link... Probably an e-mail trap where you have to keep clicking endless pages.. seen too many of them. Free stuff is never that easy online.

| Like him or not, Stern's career in radio was built over 20 years. But the "might" of a big company like Viacom can do wonders. Depends on how they play it. Best strategy would be NOT emphasizing the "replacing Stern" part. Just help David Roth do the very best show he can. Ditto for markets using Adam Corrolla. |

| I agree with things Hannity and Liddy have said about Stern to the effect of (paraphrasing), "While I might not agree with Stern's programming, I'd hate to be in a country where he wasn't free to speak." |

| Comparing Stern and Roth is like comparing "apples and oranges." How come no-one's doing a similar poll about Adam Corrolla? Actually, I always thought Loveline and Tom Letkis were similar. Not sure which of them came first. |

| My vote would be "Who cares?" Anything else I could possibly say would be edited by the admin here. Unregistered guests can't vote. |

Stern may not as liberal as Savage makes him out to be. Savage himself goes back and forth on Iraq. Savage seems most upset by his perception of Stern's use of the mentally retarded. But the ones Stern's using seem to volunteer for it - not unlike the "so called normal" hookers, strippers, and lesbians that go on Stern's show.
Savage had a severely disabled brother though, and I'm sure he sees his brother in some of Stern's handicapped guests.
I went with "unfair question." Whether Stern goes down in history as being to talk radio what Elvis was to rock (a direction changer) remains to be seen... Stern refused to play along with the "Radio Hall of Fame."
Roth and Corrolla need to blaze their own trails. _________________ "We grow too soon old and too late smart..." quoted by Michael Savage... God Bless America CAN be a sincere prayer... God relieve me of my obsessions to always be right and to SHARE... |

Please can my previous vote be erased and can I vote again?? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!! DLR isn't even a good replacement for DLR. Streaming didn't work, I got a quicktime link later and wound up stopping it... Old musicians should just fade away... He needs to finish paramedic school, then give free treatment to all the people whose ears he damaged... _________________ Viking Cats endless loop |
