Hannity was talking about how the previously unaired 911 calls that are now being aired should be censored for expletives. I guess he has to say that because he's still on terrestrial radio, but really, WGAS? These people were facing their deaths and they knew it. How many of us would not go down cussing up a storm??

Think about the absurdity of this.. go to any schoolyard. Those kids know the words. They probably also understand when adults use these words because they are genuinely upset about a real problem and gratuitous cursing for "shock value."

The new fining structure is absurd, too. If you or yours are injured through negligence, accident, or faulty product, there are limits through tort reform in most states that you can only collect a maximum $100K. But, if you curse about the judgement on TV, you can get fined $300K.

It was interesting to hear the "uncensored" ODB tape the other day on the Stern show.

Give warnings before playing them, block them with the v-chip, run a crawl during the playing of them warning of the content - but play them unedited...
