Welcome, hopefully you'll get some hits and some feedback from here. Look around. There are links to sites that promote podcasting here, such as Pickle Podcasting and Yahoo. Probably the more places you post your pod's availability, the more traffic you'll get.
Have you always lived in Hawaii? _________________

Welcome, I upgraded your rank to reflect your podster status. What got you into podcasting? Some of your book titles look interesting. Are you a men's rights activist?
Howard Stern is probably the closest show to your politics here (just guessing). Check out the Howard Stern section here.
Click my WWW button for some historic Stern bits...
Here's a shorter version of the 9-11 than what is posted there...

A shorter version - 9-11-02 Tribute, Part 2 takes up the original 9-11-01 midway through the show (when the attacks start); through the collapse of the buildings. I'd recommend Tom Leykis or Bubba the Love Sponge myself. There's a Bubba the Love Sponge "Best of" stream hosted on BTLS.com. They may have removed the link but the audio is still playing. Tune winamp or Real Player to play the following URL http://71.16.143.170:4711/listen.pls
Google for Tom Leykis. There's always Adam Corolla too. Adam just left Loveline for a morning slot on FreeFM. There's a couple of threads about him in this forum. |

I've lived in Hawaii off and on for the past 30 years.
But I've lived in 25 countries and spent the past two summers in Europe. Mostly Germany and France. Though we did drive through Germany to Slovakia to visit relatives our family had not seen in like 80 years. That's a long story, and a good one. Someday I'll write it down.
I write, that's what I do. And since people don't read much anymore I am putting my words to podcast. I call it "oral essays".
Edited by "The Spelling Fairy" as an example on how to edit... I like for friends of the forum to look their best _________________ The Rude Guy

If you're actually reading from books, why not say what book you're reading from/talking about. That way people would look at the books. Or at the end of the podcast say, "If you want to know more on (subject), go to (website) and get (book name)."
A little more dramatic reading and voice inflection couldn't hurt. Get people a little excited to listen to you. |

Still alive and up to podcast #10, I see. Sticking to the text transcript. If Stern had an "Butt-A-Voice Contest," this podcast would be a shoo-in. _________________ Viking Cats endless loop |

The Rude Guy is now podcasting from windy Chicago vs. the mouth of a Hawaiian volcano. But he's still going strong: not waiting for Howard Stern to not notice him.
Now up to Podcast #22...
