The links you provided in the first post will both take you to the same place. I run it... all are welcome. It's a forum that includes talk about Kidd Chris. It also has sections to talk about all the other shows in Philadelphia on WYSP.

It's not just about radio though... there are 9 other sections where you talk about pretty much every else in the world. TV, movies, music, video, audtio, current events, etc...

This is the only one that I know of. The one that was run by ECB was shut down. I think Chris wanted it taken down because they were just tired of moderating it. He's said a few times that he was sick of people coming on there and posting huge pictures of old guys blowing each other, etc.

The radio stunt that you're talking about... I don't really know much about. But, from what I've heard, they were doing a stunt called Wii for Wee, where whoever drinks the most water, wins a new Nintendo. The lady drank too much water and died. Apparently, drinking too much of anything can be poisoness. No, I forget where it happened, but it wasn't the Kiddshow.

I'm not sure what show it was on, but I know it wasn't Kidd Chris.

EDIT: The show is (was?) located in Sacremento.

EDIT: Apparently, ECB pulled the audio from the morning show it happened on and posted it on the internet. So, that's why Kidd's name is attached to it. Haha, it's funny because noone is mentioning what show it happened on, but Kidd Chris is getting recognition for nothing.

Didn't have time to go to the above links re the radio stunt, but Kidd himself said today on his show that:
His show (KiddChris) was in Sacramento some years ago, but not on the same station (subject station is a top-40).
The contest was sponsored by whatever corporation makes the Wii, so they had to have signed-off on it (taken responsiblity), leaving the Dj's in the clear, although they are currently off-air.
Kidd said the contest was lame, but appreciates the misdirected publicity.

I think Kidd's show is getting better, I wish he'd replace the clone-clowns (O&A) in FreeFM mornings. But Chris (Foley) stated on Howard's Sirius show that he had no interest in doing AM-drive, and is happy in Eve-drive...

Yeah, he's said many times that he doesn't want to get up that early. He's miserable enough as it is, without having to get up at 4am every morning.

Robin's News covered the story yesterday. Apparently the show that had the contest was suspended.

I remember from working with disabled adults that there were a couple who were prone to drink too much water/soft drinks and dilute their psychiatric or seizure meds and their electrolytes.
