Those capture most of mine. We're a little closer to the end of the year now. George Takei continues to be great on the show. Labor Day Weekend was good. Howard has trotted a lot of interesting choices through the H101 evening 7pm slot. So far, it's been an interesting journey.

These were all great segments but I think for me, the defining moment — and I use it as a "selling point" when attempting to turn people on to signing up for Sirius — was Howard's spontaneous outburst against Rachel Hunter.

That proved that Howard truly could — and would — say anything that came into his mind with no holds barred.

Had to be Artie admitting to heroin use on the air.

Then Riley Martin's on air "negotiations" with Stern.

And Sal getting his balls shocked. That was funny to hear but HYSTERICAL on the tv show.

Also, the show sunk to a new low with those sex machines giving the women orgasm. You know, the ones that were basically industrial-strength building tools refitted to sexually torure women. And how Gary took a money shot for the team.

Also, the return of JACKIE MARLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Penny Crone really loosened up out of the straight jacket, too.

And, who forget the show that will never be aired again, part of the whole "Stern Vs. Les Moonvies" thing.

First, its Jackie Martling, not Marlow.

Secondly, the 2006 poll
>Best Moments captured by Howard TV..
is garbage when they use moments that were from other years.
If you dont have enough Best Fights moments from 2006, DONT use that category instead of using John's fights to fluff it up.

And as someone who listens to Stern quite a lot but is not a fanboi, this comment:
"That proved that Howard truly could — and would — say anything that came into his mind with no holds barred."
is bullspit.

Howard doesnt just blurt things about people. What he does do is allow some people to be goofed on and some people to be savaged. Then there are people he wont touch. You make it sound like anyone is free game and he doesnt pull punches. Double BS.

Rosie Odonell was a big fat cow, a liar and a hypocrite before, according to Stern when they had a feud. Now, they write each other love letters about how great they are. Will Stern say anything about her right now? Probably not.
Rachel Hunter is a bimbo whose prime has passed and was never of importance. Slagging her is liking punching out a retard and she is also no Donald Trump.

C'mon, Sternidiots, lets see those Les Moonves t-shirts?
Oh wait.....he's cool now. I forgot.

Its a business and Howard treats it as such when he attacks people.
Only mindless drones believe his words like gospel.
That's why even though I can not stand the boredom of OandA, I put both their fans in the same category.

I like about 65% of the content, the rest is just way too gay, and I also think that Robin's news are as pathetic as any mainstream media (so clueless to what happens outside the US, its scary) and that Stern is a racist and xenophobe (doenst bother me but it is annoying to hear the hypcorisy of selective racism) and a hypocrite (he claims to be non-religious but he's pimping his idiotic 'chosen people' garbage yet blast s other people for their fairy tales beliefs) but that;s cool.
If I liked everything he did, it would get boring fast.
But the fanbois are the same everywhere, whether its video games, Apple computers or Stern show), they believe their heroes are infallible.

The Stern machine is a well oiled one.
I tried listening to Dopey, Bubba and Adam Carolla and you not only notice the difference with the star player but also the supporting cast.

Best moments of the year:

Interviews:
- Dixie Chicks
- John Daly
-Wilmer from 70 Show (annoying beyond belief but his claims were too juicy to ignore)

-Artie roast
-BabaBooey roast
-The winner of the HS film festival

Songs:
Riley Martin
JD techno intro
Jon Hein's Hes A Rich Nerd.
Grovers weekly rap (and I hate rap!)

Perhaps you aren't aware but part of the CBS settlement deal was that Stern was to cease and desist the anti-Moonves tirades.

I don't think anyone ever said Moonves was "cool now."

Keeping quiet about Les was a small price to pay (plus the $2M) for getting all his old tapes back.

Wow! What an entrance zeke123!! But I bet admin will love it that someone passing thru got so riled, they had to drop, stop, register, and post.

This is almost an introduction in itself. Hope you'll come back around and post on other things. Do you post at other Stern boards? Maybe post that info under "Tuning In." The Gallery at the bottom of the page has some PG13 very short clips.

I'm tired of hearing about Rosie and Donald. The other night they recapped the latest installment on local news. The whole time through I kept thinking, "This is like elementary school." At the end, the local anchor snickered, "Now remember kids, these are the grown-ups." I thought to myself, "Thank You."

Best Stern move of the year? Being at Sirius. Period. George Takei. Exclamation!!
