Podcast #23: Twice as rude...

The Rude Guy e-mailed me this message...

I will NOT keep bugging you guys about my new podcasts.

However, this show is important. I took my stage play "MORE" and converted it into a podcast. It's long, 70 minutes; and a large file, over 30 mb. Just about twice as large as a regular show.

More importantly, this show is the most concise statement I've been able to make about what's wrong with the world and how to fix it. Basically, women have too much power and corporations have too much power, AND women and corporations are in bed together, sucking off of each other. That's why we have George Bush and Tony Blair leading our countries, and that's why we are in Iraq.

These are brand NEW and undiscussed ideas (memes), and they do not slip easily into our brains. On the other hand, I do not think any of you on this short list will have any difficulty recognizing the validity of what I am saying.

Please listen to (or read) show # 23. Make copies, send them to friends. Tell friends about it. I have been thinking of selling CDs of this show at amazon.com, but why bother, when people can just download it for free off the net? But I will if people want them. Actually, CDs are higher quality recordings than podcast downloads.

As usual, any comments are welcomoed. I was getting bombed with spam in the "comments" section of the blog so I had to block all comments for awhile. But the freaks and geeks selling cell phones and whatever seem to have backed off, so the comments page is turned on again.

Thanks for listening.

Blessings, Rich Zubaty, The Rude Guy

Hey! Agree, disagree, like his voice, hate his voice - he has the right to express himself through all media - and put as much stuff 'out there' as he can afford to. We're talking about a man's work here. It's about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Hey Now! Anybody who claims they can "fix the world" would make a good wack-packer.

I liked the Bush song. Catchy.

A man has the right to um.. get the message out and market it to , umm, his heart's desire... Riley Martin has been marketing his 'brand' for years and look how far he's gotten.

Apparently, The Rude Guy podcasted this last show from Montana. He supposedly had attended some sort of anti-Bush protest in Chicago and was travelling by bus through Montana. Where will he show up next? Reminds me of "Where's Waldo?"
Wild Oats

If you haven't listened to The Rude Guy for awhile, put aside all your judgements based on his previous podcasts and listen to just one more.

I think if The Rude Guy would start using his 'real voice' (the Rich Zupaty voice) - instead of the fake Rude Guy voice, his podcasting career would go better. This was actually listenable (at least compared to the first few).

Yes, women want more...
More:
    Rich Zupaty's real voice
    variation in tempo
    inflection

Less:
    Fake artificially low, raspiness
    monotone
    anti-Bush flavored kool-aid

Thanks for the feedback. Not that it means a thing. I'm just an "outside agitator," who came to plug the podcast. Rich thanks you for your listenership.

I was prompted to try listening "one more time" after reading Wild Oats and TG's post and the latest transcript. The "play" discussion format broke up the monotony of the "Rude Guy" voice some. The raspy Rude Guy's voice still gets to me though. ..And to think that I'd believed that he couldn't help but talk in that voice. Hearing Rich Zupaty's real voice was an eye opener. If he got excited every once in awhile, he'd be less monotonous than a college professor.

But, I also can't listen to Ferrall, so what do I know? Cabbie was refreshing after this.

By the way, Happy Birthday TG.
