It's not really justice to compare JL to Howard, although there are similarities. JL was one of the original pirate radio guys, he had a station docked offshore back in the late 80's and the cops stormed the boat and arrested him, just for broadcasting records. Now his show is heard every Sunday night, out of the den in his apartment. The show has a very intimate and friendly atmosphere, as JL spins rare 45's from his record collection, tells jokes with a vaudvillian sense of timing, takes phone calls and waxes on the radio industry and politics from a Left-wing/liberal/libertarian point of view.

I would love to hear this show on H100, JL's nowhere as dirty as Howard's (although JL does curse and uses blue humor) and he's a real stand-up guy.
