Still, I can't ever see Dr. King "taking a bullet for gay marriage," either. R.I.P. Dr. King. That was some funeral that James Brown had (horse drawn carriage and all). |

Homosexuality was a "deviant behavior" in the DSM# (Diagnostic Service Manual?) until 1972 or 1973. I remember it being considered sort of a "big deal" by sociology and psychiatry classes when that happened. A lot of people still equated male homosexuality with child molesters.

This is true. The only reason why homosexuality was taken off the DSM was because gay activists began attacking psychologists, storming their conferences and threatening violence and outings. Ironically, the Gay Rights Movement would never have happened if it weren't for "Dr" King, something Parks fails to grasp. The Right Perspective did a very good show exposing the truth about "Dr" King, including the fact that King was a Communist agent and the so-called "non violent" protesters were not as well-behaved as the Leftist-controlled media makes us believe.
