If you don't frequent 'wgas' at SFn:
After David Lee Roth was brought in to replace Sirius-bound Howard and DLR was subsequently fired after 4-months, Stern rivals Opie & Anthony were brought in to "save" FreeFM. Their initial ratings were "decent", then leveled off and now their latest ratings book shows them generally at or below DLR's numbers.
During O&A's first months on FreeFM, they would take pot-shots at Howard every day. I thought this was a bad idea, and it appears that others feel the same. They are also no-talent jackasses with literally no humor other than lame attempts at 'cringe humor' (making fun of suicide-victims, dead infants, etc...). They initially railed against Howard, saying he was "old" and "couldn't adapt" to the 'new' FCC. They ripped DLR's show apart, chiding his <2.0 ratings, which is exactly where they are now.
Ha ha! Karma's a bitch! Expect them to be canned. Whoopie beats them in NY, they're around 30th in Chicago, etc.
O&A are horrible, in my opinion. The rest of the station (at least in Philadelphia), is great. After O&A, there's The Barsky Show 9-1, Matt and Huggy 1-3, Kidd Chris 3-7, then Scotty and Alex 7-11. If you don't have satellite, and don't like your local FreeFM's lineup, I would recommend checking WYSP in Philadelphia on the internet. There's a banner in my sig for a forum I run for the station. I have a link to the internet stream on the forum.
Oh, and our ratings did pretty well for the fall.
WYSP (FreeFM) went UP from a 1.9 in the summer, to a 2.2 in the fall.
WMMR (a rivla station in Philly), on the other hand, went DOWN from a 5.0 in the summer, to a 4.3 in the fall. _________________

Don't know, never heard (or wanted to) it. But it's super sweet that they spent a few days (at least) railing against her when she first came on the air, then cowered like little punks when she appeared in their studio during broadcast and called them out (they folded like a deck of cards)...
Karma's a bitch! Their 'show' is currently in 21st place, DLR was 22nd.
There're a few SFn'ers in the WGAS section who's mission it seems is to make the clone's and their "pest's" lives miserable. It's effective, as many of the "pests" visit to defend their boy's honor, and devote a lot of their bb's (WackBag) postings to SFn activity...
Best part of this 'radio war' is that Howard generally ignores them...
