Now that Howie's getting all his old stuff back, what are the chances of Howard doing a "Stern Classics" Channel? After all, there's over 20 years of material there... and Howard has said that he has the option of creating a 3rd channel on Sirius. _________________

"Will There Be A "Stern Classics" Channel?"
Hope so!! I started hearing Stern way early (early '80s, I think), and think the early days were much differnt, if not better...

| I must have clicked it right after you made the post, sorry... I'm thinking we'll at least get some decent "Best ofs" next time (ie. July 4th). Too bad it wasn't settled a couple of weeks before this vacation. |

Howard Talks About the Tapes
"The channels are about to get better...20 years and 23,000 hours of material...uncensorsed...first time heard uncensored...the entire history of this show can now be played...these clips have been edited and re-edited over the years...everything's coming back baby and I couldn't be more thrilled...only on Sirius satellite radio"
He wants to know how it should be presented. Classic Stern at noon, Stern Show music weekends, top 200 bits, Hank the Dwarf weekend...

Things take time... The rental of the tapes was 'cheap' versus what CBS originally wanted, but still amounted to some money. Howard did ask his listeners to weigh-in on various forums. This page might also be helpful: Sirius Customer Care - also write sternshow@howardstern.com
Remember. no "Dead Air Dave" on Sirius..
Look forward to hearing the uncensored version of the CBS material. No More BS!
