Someone at SFN asked about the status of Fred's sound effects...

Infinity co-owns things that were recorded using their property. That is some of his sound bites, but they have three weeks to gather up new ones. Plus, Howard's staff has tons of sound bites Infinity doesn't own.
A caller brought this up on the show a while back and Howard pointed out that he owns the e! shows. They can probably grab the soundbytes from the TV broadcasts. |
Some of Howard's guests have CDs. Something can surely be negotiated there. Some guests would probably give permission just to have the CD plugged.

The first one is funnier... Neither are truly worksafe - if your co-workers can hear your computer... The first one uses pictures (some nudity) to hook the sounds with - which is why it isn't linked... |

Yeah, I was aware of the first one.. not aware of Ebaum's... Both contain audio profanity... I never listed SternSounds before because of the visual. I wouldn't fool with either one of those at work (unless I were the boss). Might want to use headphones unless people around you are really Stern sympathetic. Considering most of the sound effects Stern uses are on the net, Fred should have plenty of effects to work with...
Look at the transition as an opportunity for them to incorporate new material... Some of the old stuff got overplayed...

| I'm curious as to how the Stern one Krypt did compares to the SternSounds one or the eBaum one, but don't know if I'll get around to d/l it today or not... |

I just got the Crazy Alice one. Am surprised the link is still good. Guess it will last another month now. It's not bad as far as the sound selection goes, but it is so tiny and hard to read. BTW, I had to select FireFox from the right click menu to open it (guess IE would work, too).
