KiddChris' show played clips of the fired DJ's on his show today (they girl who died called the station after leaving the stunt to report she was 'sick', and the DJ's joking told her she way dying...).
If/when I locate these clips, I'll post 'em here... |

The local TV news also played clips of the contest Wednesday evening. They played a clip where a caller had tried to explain water intoxication during the contest and the DJ's were like, "Well, OK, but we got the releases signed - we're covered.." (paraphrased). You could tell by the vocal tone that they were totally blowing the caller off. That's going to be a lawsuit - and a settlement - release or not...

 This is creepy! They're playing the contest tape from the Sacramento Morning Rave studio on FreeFm now. Hearing the voice of the girl who later died is like watching a snuff-film. Errr..
Lots of death jokes thrown around the morning-zoo setting, complete with cringy "Big FM Radio Voices".
Can't see these guys or their employers being charged as there was no intent, but a cival suit - sure. |
